John and Marcie Kohls: Relaxing Vacation

Stayed here for one week in February. First time in El Salvador, first time in Central america. Absolutely loved the place. Had our own chef for all our meals. The owner stayed there and really goes out of his way to make sure you’re happy and everything you need is taken care of. The food was great. The atmosphere was relaxing. Remember not to drink the water.
The owner took us on a boat cruise about 10 miles through Mangrove Forests all the way to the Rio Lempa, the largest river in El Sal. The walk to the beach is about 4 or 5 minutes straight across the peninsula from the house, but our hosts drove us everyday so we didn’t have to carry our surfboards.
They also took us to Mayan ruins and Volcanoes further inland on a day trip. It was a really beautiful country, I would recommend it to anyone.
